Please note you will now require a Sponsor Licence even to employ European nationals from abroad, post BREXIT.

For example, it may not be accepted that there is a genuine vacancy that needs to be filled, and for this reason your application for a Sponsor Licence could be refused. There is a requirement to prove that you are a `genuine’ worker.
You must have a Certificate of Sponsorship allocated to you by a qualifying UK business holding a Sponsor Licence issued by UKVI to employ foreign migrant workers.
The job you wish to take up must be a role permitted under the Codes of Practice for which non-UK migrants may be employed.
You will need to ensure you meet the relevant skill level for the job you are seeking to be employed for in the UK. You will need to submit evidence of your qualifications and experience.
Your employer will need to ensure they are offering you the minimum salary as cited for the role in the Codes of Practice.
Applications can be refused if you do not meet the skill level for the role, your employer is not offering to pay you the minimum salary required for the role, a Certificate of Sponsorship has not been correctly assigned to you, you do not meet the English language requirement or you do not meet the maintenance requirement to demonstrate you can adequately support yourself if your A-rated sponsor is not certifying maintenance.
